Shoshana Abrams served as FCNL’s Advocacy Teams Manager. In that role she was responsible for deepening and expanding our Advocacy Teams program, a network of hundreds of Quakers and friends lobbying to build congressional champions for peace and justice.

As associate general secretary for communications and IT, Adlai Amor led FCNL’s communications team to build its presence in all media platforms, oversee the organization’s marketing, and provide a strategic direction for all communications.

Leona Amosah

As an FCNL Young Fellow, Leona works closely with Katie Breslin on young adult outreach. She assists Katie Breslin in recruiting, training, and supporting young activists all over the U.S. in an effort to galvanize grassroots activism on college campuses and in communities as a whole.

Kristen helps to engage and expand FCNL’s online community and amplify its voice through social media. In this role, she also develops long-form editorial content and serves as an in-house writing trainer for Program Assistants and other colleagues.

As FCNL’s national field organizer, Jessica was responsible for identifying and cultivating new advocates to lobby Congress and connect with FCNL’s advocacy programs.

Windila Balbone

Windila Balbone is the 2022 Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace fellow at FCNL. In this capacity, she works through the FCNL Education Fund to provide program support for the peacebuilding team and specifically for the Prevention and Protection Working Group (PPWG).

Tim Barner

Tim Barner
Former Director for Leadership Development

In his role as director for leadership development, Tim Barner traveled on the east coast to visit FCNL supporters – both individuals and groups – about major gifts for FCNL’s annual operations and the FCNL Campaign. Tim joined the FCNL staff in 2001 to coordinate the public phase of the “A Place Just Right” campaign to construct FCNL’s green building and he became a major gifts officer at the end of that campaign.

Michelle Beers

Michelle Beers
Program Assistant, Field Program

Michelle Beers works with the Quaker Field Secretary Christine Ashley on building relationships with Quaker and non-Quaker constituents across the country. Michelle helps empower constituents to be civically-minded and to advocate on the issues they care about by connecting them with pertinent and relevant resources and instructions about lobbying and faith-based action.

Lauren Bladen-White

Director for Operations and Administration

Lauren Bladen-White is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day building operations and facilities management. She served as the project manager for the complete renovation of the geothermal system for FCNL’s green building, and she is the event manager for the both the Annual Meeting and the Spring Lobby Weekend.

Lauren is a community activist who is involved in tenants’ rights, human rights, women’s issues, and animal rights. She is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and is an alumna of St. Catherine’s School and Howard University.
