Mike Coogan worked with FCNL’s development team to craft and implement an Annual Fund strategy that supports the organization’s advocacy work and honors Quaker testimonies on peace, equality, simplicity and truth. In this capacity, he collaborated with staff and volunteers to steward the organization’s large and diverse base of donors and reach out to others who support of FCNL’s non-partisan, multi-issue approach to lobbying.
Michya Cooper was the Program Assistant for Justice Reform and Election Integrity team. She lobbied with José Woss, the director of justice reform, to advance FCNL’s lobbying goals of promoting a more restorative justice system and protecting the right to free and fair elections.
David Culp, FCNL’s longtime legislative representative for nuclear disarmament, passed away in February, 2017. He is deeply missed.
Shukria Dellawar was FCNL’s director of the Prevention and Protection Working Group (2019-2022). She has served as a peace and security expert, human rights advocate, and a gender specialist.
Rafaela Demerath was the program assistant for the peacebuilding team for 2021-2022.
Jeremiah (Jerry) Dobbs serves as FCNL’s facilities manager.
Clarence Edwards served as FCNL’s legislative director for sustainable energy and environment from 2020-2023.
Lauren Evans is FCNL’s Advocacy Teams campaign consultant. She supports teams around the country by providing assistance with policy questions, creating campaign materials, and supporting Communicator Calls.
Alex Frandsen served as a member of FCNL’s Communications Team from 2019-2023. Through close collaboration with the office’s various teams, he worked to connect FCNL’s work and messaging with the broader world.
