A proud D.C. native, Lakita McNeil is the Senior Executive Assistant to the General Secretary at the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), bringing over 20 years of experience supporting senior leadership and overseeing complex office operations. She’s known for her calm under pressure, sharp organizational skills, and commitment to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Lakita is currently pursuing her B.A. in Human Resources at Western Governors University.
Nelson Miranda is the Senior Manager of IT Operations. He leads FCNL’s efforts to develop, implement, and evolve technologies to support the organization’s growth.
Ashlee Morris is the human resources generalist at FCNL. Her work focuses on recruiting, employee orientations, and coordinating onboarding functions for new hires.
Traveling throughout the U.S., Susan connects passionate individuals with opportunities to support FCNL’s work.

Rachel Overstreet (Choctaw Nation) is FCNL’s legislative representative for Native American Advocacy. She advocates for policies that honor tribal sovereignty, help Native communities succeed, and repair relationships between faith communities, the government, and Native people.
Wesley creates engaging visual communication strategies to support FCNL’s advocacy efforts. As creative director, he guides branding, design, and photography across digital and print channels.
Eleni Sefanit Retta serves as Advocacy Teams Organizer for FCNL. She is a life-long D.C. area native, labor, international politics, and media advocate.
