Ursala is the legislative director for peacebuilding. She lobbies Congress to establish peacebuilding as a central goal of U.S. foreign policy.

Micah MacColl Nicholson (she/they) is the program associate for Quaker outreach.

Jackson Malkus is the outreach and events coordinator at Friends Place on Capitol Hill. He is responsible for helping to build the Friends Place community by organizing and facilitating events to educate, energize, and create fellowship. He forms partnerships and collaborations and stewards existing relationships to strengthen the Friends Place network.

Shyann Markley-Tellez joined FCNL in November 2023 as a senior accountant in the finance department. She plays a role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyses, and reporting for the organization. 

Thandie Masilela is the assistant controller at FCNL. She works with the controller and Associate General Secretary of Finance and Operations to support the accounting team.

Odeliya Matter is a program assistant for the Middle East Policy team.

Alicia McBride leads FCNL’s work to nurture, expand, and deepen relationships with Friends across the United States.

Megan Thomas is FCNL’s senior director of leadership gifts.

A proud D.C. native, Lakita McNeil is the Executive Assistant to the General Secretary at the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), bringing over 20 years of experience supporting senior leadership and overseeing complex office operations. She’s known for her calm under pressure, sharp organizational skills, and commitment to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Lakita is currently pursuing her B.A. in Human Resources at Western Governors University.

Nelson Miranda is the Senior Manager of IT Operations. He leads FCNL’s efforts to develop, implement, and evolve technologies to support the organization’s growth.
