We’ve written extensively on the need to repeal the 2001 and 2002 AUMFs. These collected resources reflect our stance on endless war, and our efforts to end it.

Nuclear weapons — no matter the size — must never be used. This message is at the heart of FCNL’s work to stop the deployment of the so-called low-yield nuclear warheads on U.S. Navy submarines.

Meet FCNL’s 2019-2020 class of Young Fellows! These recent college graduates spend 11 months working with key staff members to build expertise in advocacy from a public interest perspective.

Independent researchers estimate that 100 people are killed daily with guns in the U.S. – and many more are injured. Coming to FCNL, I have been impressed at the dedication FCNL has in engaging young adults with Quaker advocacy work. The work that I see on a daily basis at FCNL is both inspiring and contagious, and I am so excited to be part of the 2019 summer intern cohort!

The world is considerably less peaceful today than a decade ago. Recurring wars around the world show we cannot wait until a crisis escalates to respond. Failing to address brewing conflicts early puts greater demand on the United States to pursue costly military interventions later on. Congress should take a proactive approach towards prevention by investing in U.S. capacity to prevent violence.

The House Climate Solutions Caucus has officially relaunched in this new Congress! The two co-chairs are Rep. Ted Deutch (FL-22) and Rep. Francis Rooney (FL-19).
