Tim Heishman is the Advocacy Teams Trainer for FCNL. He provides training for newly formed Advocacy Teams as well as offers support and encouragement to existing teams.

Previously, Tim worked as a pastor, camp program director, and denominational conference planner in the Church of the Brethren. In all of these roles, he has always been passionate about leadership development. He finds great joy in helping others use their gifts and voices to make a difference in the lives of others and in the world around us.

Tim holds degrees in History and Biblical Studies from Eastern Mennonite University and a Master of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary. As a Bethany student, Tim completed several courses at the Earlham School of Religion. He is also an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren. Originally from Harrisburg, PA and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Tim now lives with his wife and daughter in Dayton, OH.
