Priya Moran is the 2025 Program Assistant for Peacebuilding at the Friends Committee on National Legislation. In this role, she supports FCNL’s advocacy to prevent violent conflict and promote peaceful U.S. foreign policy through research, writing, and outreach to Congress and partner groups.  

Priya earned a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and a minor in Spanish. Throughout college, she participated in the GW Global Bachelor’s Program and competed on GW’s Undergraduate Moot Court Team.  

Before joining FCNL, Priya worked across bipartisan and immigration-related spaces. She collaborated with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations to research climate-related conflict and gender policy. At Human Rights First, she supported asylum cases. She also assisted with refugee resettlement at the International Rescue Committee and naturalization at the International Institute of Minnesota.  

In her free time, Priya enjoys crafting, reading, and traveling.
