On Feb. 10, FCNL’s Larissa Gil Sanhueza and Jameelah Lewis will be the featured speakers for a virtual conversation hosted by the Matsunaga Institute for Peace at the University of Hawaiʻi.

Join us to examine specific ways that activists and grassroots organizers in the United States are advocating for more just and equitable policies on the federal level. By meeting directly with legislators, engaging media, and mobilizing their communities, ordinary people are influencing decisions made by the U.S. Congress on environmental justice, immigration reform, militarized foreign policy, and more.
