Gabi Selmonosky is the 2026-2027 Program Assistant for Peacebuilding. In this role, she supports FCNL’s advocacy to protect federal funding for foreign assistance and conflict prevention programs.
Gabi graduated from American University with a bachelor of arts in international studies with focus areas in global development and peace and conflict resolution. During her time at American, she helped lead food recovery and hunger prevention initiatives and was a member of the Abdul Aziz Said Peace Scholars program. She also studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium where she gained first-hand knowledge of the European Union, NATO relations, and Europe’s role in global conflict resolution.
Before joining FCNL, Gabi worked across bipartisan advocacy spaces. She interned with Bread for the World to advocate for domestic and international nutrition programs. She has twice participated in the Congressional Hunger Center’s Gen-Z Food and Hunger Summit and is passionate about supporting coalition and youth-based advocacy.
