We seek a world free of war and the threat of war
We seek a society with equity and justice for all
We seek a community where every person’s potential may be fulfilled
We seek an earth restored
On Dec. 6-8, FCNL’s outgoing General Secretary Diane Randall and incoming leader Bridget Moix joined leaders from Quaker Agencies in London to mark a time of transition in our leadership and our work. Together they affirmed their collective commitment to working to build the just and peaceful world God tells us can be ours.
As FCNL’s deputy director of Strategic Advocacy, Sarah Freeman-Woolpert was responsible for deepening and expanding our Advocacy Teams program, a network of hundreds of Quakers and friends lobbying to build congressional champions for peace and justice.
Join FCNL and interfaith partners for a webinar to learn more about what is happening and how you can act to support vulnerable communities here at home and around the world as Congress negotiates a deal to lift the nation’s borrowing limit.
Our 2022 Annual Meeting brought together hundreds of Friends online and in Washington, D.C., to learn, lobby, worship, and chart FCNL’s future. Nearly 300 advocates from 43 states completed 160 lobby visits in support of the Environmental Justice for All Act (H.R. 2021/S. 872).
As 2024 draws to a close, we are pausing to reflect on the remarkable strength and dedication of this community. You have played a critical role in connecting the concerns of Friends in your meeting or church with advocacy with federal policymakers. I am so grateful to work with all of you.
Stand with us in the face of injustice
Together, we can respond with moral courage to cruel policies. Support FCNL’s advocacy to defend food assistance, healthcare, and peacebuilding today, while your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
