Hadley Flanagan is the 2026-2027 Program Assistant for Nuclear Disarmament and Pentagon Spending. In this position, she advocates for the eventual elimination of nuclear weapons and remediation for the communities and ecosystems they impact.
Hadley graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor of arts in environment & sustainability with a concentration in environmental policy and governance. She completed an honors thesis project mapping the food waste management system in Ithaca, NY. Throughout college, Hadley led an education and outreach-focused team at the Cornell Botanic Gardens and volunteered with the Climate Action Now app, empowering citizens to push for climate-friendly policies.
Before joining FCNL, Hadley supported lobbying efforts at the bipartisan government relations firm, Monument Advocacy, worked at a community composting project based in Sydney, Australia, and taught at a sustainability center in Ithaca.
In her spare time, Hadley enjoys cooking, painting, and card games.
