Chauncy Wadsworth is FCNL’s 2026-2027 Program Assistant Fellow for Justice Reform and Election Integrity. His primary responsibilities are to assist the Justice Reform and Election Integrity team in advocating against harmful and unnecessary Voter ID policy as well as advocating for a renewal of federal funding for local violence interruption programs. 

Chauncy recently graduated from Haverford College, receiving a bachelor of arts in political science with a focus on American politics. He was one of eight graduating students given honors for his performance in Haverford’s Political Science department, with a particular emphasis being placed on his thesis: The Underlying Causes of Political Violence in Developed Democracies. Chauncy has appeared in multiple political podcasts as an expert on online voting and electoral policy. 

Most recently, Chauncy was a Senior Election Analyst for the democracy reform organization America’s Main Street Party (AMSP) and continues to serve as the lead PR Representative for AMSP and its partner organization, the Digital Democracy Project. He also interned for the Chicago-based advocacy firm Lobbying for Improvements, creating the Fragrance Regulation and Environmental Safety Hub (FRESH), which introduced state legislation aimed at eliminating hazardous chemicals in cosmetic products in Illinois. 

Chauncy is an avid collector of vinyl records, a former competitive tennis player who continues to play recreationally, and a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs.
