This week we have an opportunity to hear from two young adult leaders, Larissa Gil-Sanhueza and Kameryn Point (Lumbee/Waccamaw Siouan). FCNL’s Spring Lobby Weekend is just around the corner. As Derek Chauvin’s trial for the murder of George Floyd begins, Larissa and Kameryn will lead nearly 500 young adults in lobbying Congress to end police violence.

As the young adult program director, Larissa Gil-Sanhueza focuses on developing and training young adult advocates around the country.
Kameryn Point
Kameryn Point (Lumbee/Waccamaw Siouan) was the program assistant for criminal justice and election integrity for 2020-2021. In this role she lobbies for comprehensive justice reform, including the demilitarization of local police forces, required racial profiling and bias training for law enforcement, and an end to mass incarceration.
