This year marks the ten-year anniversary of FCNL’s Advocacy Teams and Advocacy Corps, two programs that have empowered thousands of F/friends and young adults to become effective advocates and organizers. This month Tim Heishman, Senior Advocacy Teams Manager, and Larissa Sanhueza, Young Adult Program Director, will be joined by members and alumni for the final installation of our Quaker Changemakers Event series. We’ll take a look at how Advocacy Teams and Advocacy Corps have strengthened our Quaker witness on Capitol Hill, and how this work is evolving to meet the opportunities and challenges of the current political landscape.
