Gaza Needs Aid

Over two million Palestinian civilians are enduring one of the world’s worst human-made humanitarian crises. Famine and disease are spreading as vital aid remains blocked. In the midst of this suffering, the Biden administration and Congress have suspended all U.S. funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)—the largest aid provider in Gaza—until March 2025.

Join Us for a Critical Workshop

Friends Place on Capitol Hill is hosting a workshop to address the urgent need to change the narrative around UNRWA. Since the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7th, misinformation and disinformation about UNRWA’s operations and staff have escalated. Together, we will examine some of the accusations against UNRWA, review the facts of its work, and discuss how to advocate for its vital mission.

At FCNL, we are advocating for the United States to provide robust funding to sustain UNRWA’s essential programs. Without this support, millions of Palestinians will face even harsher conditions—famine, a lack of basic healthcare, and the collapse of emergency services. Now is the time to take action and stand for those in desperate need.
