Climate Solutions Caucus Floor Speeches

By Scott Greenler, November 2, 2017

On November 1st, members of the Climate Solutions Caucus took to the floor of the U.S. House to speak on the importance of addressing climate change. FCNL is happy to see the commitment of these members to finding solutions to climate change, and we applaud their initiative in raising the issue before their colleagues in Congress.

The following members delivered floor speeches during the special order called by Representative Lipinski:

Representative Dan Lipinski (IL-3):

Representative Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-08):

Representative Jerry McNerney (CA-9):

Representative John Faso (NY-19):

Representative Suzanne Bonamici (OR-1):

Representative Ted Deutch (FL-22):

Representative Thomas Suozzi (D-NY):

Representative Salud Carbajal (CA-24):

Representative Carlos Curbelo (FL-26):

Representative Jimmy Panetta (CA-20):

Representative Dan Lipinski (IL-3) Closing Remarks:

Representative Don Bacon (NE-02) was not able to attend due to a scheduling conflict, but submitted his comments for the Congressional Record.

FCNL is incredibly grateful to Representative Lipinski for setting up the special order, and to all of the members who were able to deliver speeches. We look forward to working with the caucus in the future to find legislative solutions that address climate change.
