Zoe Jannuzi is the program assistant for Middle East policy. She lobbies with Hassan El-Tayyab for peace and justice in the Middle East, with particular focus on Palestine, Yemen, and Iran.

Zoe graduated from Swarthmore College in 2022 with a major in Peace Education and minors in History and Dance Performance. Inspired by her work as a student organizer, she wrote her senior capstone on history as a powerful tool in movements for social justice. With Students for Justice in Palestine, Zoe helped to fundraise over $15,000 for the Palestinian youth group Youth of Sumud.

Zoe has worked with the American Friends Service Committee, the Swarthmore Peace Collection, and Leadership for Educational Equity. She believes in the power of education as a liberatory tool to, in the words of John Green, “decrease world suck.”
