Traveling throughout the U.S., Susan connects passionate individuals with opportunities to support FCNL’s work. She meets with FCNL’s most loyal supporters, learning what motivates them to advocate for peace, justice, opportunity, and an earth restored.

Susan began her journey with FCNL in 2017 as the program assistant for human rights and civil liberties. After her fellowship ended, she worked for Human Rights First, assisting their advocacy on the intersection between national security policy and human rights. Returning to FCNL, Susan transitioned to development work as a way to support all the policy goals of the organization.

A graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at the Pennsylvania State University, Susan holds bachelor’s degrees in international politics and French and Francophone studies. She studied abroad in France, volunteered as an English as a Second Language tutor, and raised awareness about sexual assault and relationship violence on college campuses.
