Sam Fuller is a senior Political Science and Economics double major at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. For the past year, Sam has been working with local community members and leaders to organize events that promote diversity and stand against hate.

Primarily, he helped plan a demonstration against a neo-Nazi rally held in Rome and organize a unity festival held later that day. Now Sam is looking forward to encouraging Representative Tom Graves and Senators David Perdue and Johnny Isakson to support substantive, comprehensive, and effective immigration reform. He is also planning on organizing events with community and religious leaders that highlight the many immigrants that make Rome a diverse and thriving community. In that same vein, he seeks to incorporate the firsthand accounts of the trials and tribulations of immigrants, caused by the US’ broken immigration system, when lobbying to show the human side of immigration reform. In his free time Sam can be found sleeping, cooking, or hanging out with friends. And more importantly, he is extremely excited to be working with the Advocacy Corps this coming year to promote comprehensive immigration reform.
