Becca secures funding from private foundations to advance FCNL’s vision for a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world. As Foundation Relations Director, she leads the full-cycle grants process and builds relationships with new and existing funding partners.
Becca grew up attending a Quaker meeting, and her interest in peacebuilding grew during a service year at the Center on Conscience and War. There, she had the opportunity to support conscientious objectors as they sought separation from the military.
Prior to joining FCNL in 2022, Becca served as grants manager at a domestic violence intervention and prevention agency in Portland, OR, and as an institutional fundraising consultant in Washington, D.C. She began her grant writing career at a youth development nonprofit, after spending a year in Spain teaching English to children ages three to 11. She holds a bachelor’s in English and Spanish from Willamette University.
Becca loves hiking and backpacking and tries to spend as much time as possible exploring the mountains near her home in Portland, OR.
