Omar Hajajreh recently graduated from Colby-Sawyer College with a BA in History and Political Studies. He currently lives in Massachusetts, but will reside in New Hampshire as an Advocacy Corps member. Omar’s background includes environmental political organizing, interning at the U.S. Senate, working with refugees, and an interest in public and foreign policy issues. As an Advocacy Corps member, Omar hopes to develop a deeper understanding of political organizing, especially on issues that affect immigrants and cultural/religious minorities, nationally.
Omar is excited to improve his skills in organizing constituents into trainings, talks, and direct action. He is also looking forward to joining a team of like-minded young people who believe in social equity and justice and he is thankful to have this opportunity to learn with and from them.
