Jus Tavcar is the interim legislative associate for sustainable energy and environment. He previously served as the 2022-2023 program assistant. In his work, Jus lobbies Congress to pass policies in favor of transitioning into a just green economy.

Before joining as a program assistant, Jus worked in nonprofit development, first at FCNL as a summer intern and then at Bread for the World. Born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Jus graduated from Earlham College with degrees in Art History and Global Management.

While at Earlham, Jus worked as a student ambassador for arts, a marketing specialist at a natural history museum, and an assistant at a science library. He also conducted research in economics and served as a convener of the International Students Coalition.
