James is a master’s student at Clark University where he is studying international development focusing on refugees, forced migration, and belonging. Before joining the Advocacy Corps, he was a Peace Corps youth development volunteer in Perú.

James also worked as an ESL teacher in Madrid, Spain after earning his bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College. He is passionate about learning new languages and questions of cultural and legal citizenship. James is very much looking forward to organizing in Worcester this year.
