Isis Kazadi is FCNL’s national field organizer, and, in this role, oversees Campus Chapter, Diaspora Organizers, and the Delegation Leaders that join Friends Changemaker Weekend. Across these programs, she prioritizes leadership development, relationship building, and how best to assist organizers in meeting their advocacy goals. Prior to her title as National Field Organizer, she was the Young Adult Program Associate, helping to facilitate a smooth Spring Lobby event.

Isis is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and received a B.A in Human Rights and Political Science with a Public Policy focus. In this space, she focused on the power of restorative justice and the necessity of extra-canonical storytelling. Prior to joining FCNL, Isis worked in voting rights spaces, helping to register hundreds of college students to vote across Texas. In addition to her work at FCNL, Isis is an essayist and cultural critic.
