Eli Greenstein is the 2026-2027 Program Assistant for Middle East Policy. He lobbies for nonviolent U.S. engagement in the region and organizes with community constituents to advocate for a just U.S. foreign policy that promotes lasting peace and prosperity.

Eli earned his bachelor of arts in global studies with minors in Arabic and political science from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. During his time at Temple, he was a teaching assistant, facilitated programming on U.S. policy toward the Middle East, and presented research at academic conferences.

Before joining FCNL in 2026, Eli interned with UNRWA USA, where he supported strategic communications, documented and shared refugee stories, and advocated for restoring U.S. funding to UNRWA. He was later a Fellow with the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) in Amman, Jordan, where he developed proficiency in the Arabic language.

In his free time, Eli enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and guitar, reading, and exploring D.C.’s public parks.
