Celina Tijerina is a junior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is studying Theatre with a concentration in design and technology, and Horticulture. While at school, Celina volunteers with several organizations that work toward creating community in the local area and she aspires to join the Peace Corps after she graduates.
Celina is excited to grow her ability to have influential conversations and learn how to lobby effectively during the Washington Summer Intensive. She is also looking forward to meeting the other Advocacy Corps members and working with them to affect change across the nation.
