Benjamin Wertz is a graduate of Indiana University, with a degree in Comparative Literature and academic minors in Informatics and Psychology. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana where he works as a Client Care Specialist for a policy management technology company.

He is youth leader at First Friends Meeting, and makes music for the soul. Ben is passionate about community development and creative, project-oriented learning. He hopes to build community and create meaningful experiences with his own projects, nurturing a dream to one day create a school. Introduced to FCNL through the annual Spring Lobby Weekend, Ben was drawn to the organization because of its clear focus on equality and integrity. He fuels his mission with a belief that an economy focused on building trust and recognizing holistic impact is the path to a fair and peaceful society.
