Alexis Newland graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, with a degree in political science. She just completed her first cycle working on a get-out-the-vote campaign for Joe Biden. She grew her passion for environmental justice after volunteering for two years with the West Michigan Environmental Action Council. She is also completing Starbucks’ Greener Apron program.
