Quaker Welcome Center
Located across the street from the U.S. Senate, the Quaker Welcome Center is a place for dialogue and the promotion of peace, justice, and environmental sustainability.
Join us as we celebrate 60 years of Friends Place, formerly known as William Penn House, and its legacy of hospitality, peace, civic engagement, and justice. Guests will journey through six decades of Friends Place history through storytelling from each era, highlighting the people, movements, and moments that made the house a meaningful home for advocacy and community. The celebration will culminate in an alumni dinner, creating space to reconnect, share memories, and look toward the next chapter of Friends Place.
