As Quakers, we believe in the sacred worth of each person and stand against violence in all its forms. We grieve for those in Israel and Gaza who have lost precious lives. We pray with those waiting for the return of loved ones and those living under siege and bombardment.
On Nov. 20 at 6:00 p.m. EST you are invited to join FCNL’s Bridget Moix and Hassan El-Tayyab at the White House for an ecumenical prayer vigil. Together, alongside other people of faith, we will unite our voices in prayer and action as we call for a ceasefire.
Event Sponsors: Churches for Middle East Peace, Friends Committee on National Legislation, Global Ministries of the United Church of Christ and Disciples of Christ, Maryknoll Sisters, Presbyterian Church USA, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Sojourners, Red Letter Christians.
