This discernment will provide the foundation for our legislative priorities during the 117th Congress, which starts on January 2021. As we begin this outreach, we need your help in gathering this vital collection of Friends’ voiced concerns and leadings.

To learn how you can contribute to this critical process, join us via Zoom on Jan. 8 at 6:30 p.m. EST for “Listening and Discerning Legislative Priorities.”

We will hear how Friends have brought their communities together through the legislative priorities process, and discuss how you can do the same. Field Committee member Deb Hejl (Gwynned Friends Meeting) will join FCNL’s Christine Ashley to facilitate the conversation.

By the end of our evening together, you will be able to confidently lead the legislative priorities discernment process within your church or meeting. Materials on the legislative priorities process are available here. Make sure to spread the word to your neighboring meetings and yearly meetings!

This will be a virtual event. Register to attend via Zoom.
