The Quaker World is a new book in Quaker Studies. With 61 chapters and Quakers and non-Quakers writing about the Quaker tradition from around the world, this book is broad in its diversity of experience and perspective, and deep in terms of its analysis.
The book includes a chapter by FCNL’s past-General Secretary Diane Randall, entitled: “Quaker Advocacy for Peace: From Grassroots to Congress.”
The Quaker World is full of history, theology, case studies, and biographies of some key Quakers and some not-as-well-known ones. It was written with the non-Quaker undergraduate student in mind and will make for a great resources for anyone interested in knowing more about the Quaker tradition.
