Our Work

FCNL is much more than our lobbyists in Washington, DC. We're thousands of people across the country working for peace, justice, and sustainability. At local and national events, we bring people together for advocacy and community.

We hope you'll be able to join us for regional events and conference calls, or travel to Washington, DC for Annual Meeting and Spring Lobby Weekend.

Thursdays with Friends is a new online conversation series brought to you during this period of great difficulty when we are isolated from our loved ones. 2. Event Witness Wednesdays

Wednesdays at the Quaker Welcome Center

On Wednesdays, join FCNL at the (virtual) Quaker Welcome Center, where witness meets advocacy.

  3. Event Spring Lobby Weekend

Save the Date: March 20-23, 2021

At Spring Lobby Weekend 2020, hundreds of students, recent grads, Quakers, and young adults gather to learn and virtually lobby Congress.

Event July Quaker Changemaker Event: Advocacy and the Arts

Watch the Recording

We’ve seen how creative advocacy like baking peace dove cookies and singing to senators has brought imagination, heart, and humanity to Friends’ advocacy with FCNL—and how it has led to major breakthroughs in relationship-building with members of Congress. FCNL’s July Quaker Changemakers event will elevate creative advocacy in a discussion about music and political change.
