On July 12, the House of Representatives voted on 438 amendments to the annual defense authorization bill, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Letter Pro-Diplomacy Organizations: NDAA Conferees Must Honor Bipartisan Majority’s Opposition to Unauthorized War With Iran 

FCNL joined 30 organizations in sending a letter to National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) conferees expressing opposition to war with Iran, and urging them to retain bipartisan language to prohibit funds for military action against Iran without explicit authorization from Congress. The conferees are working together to resolve the differences between the defense authorization bills passed separately by the Senate and the House.
