Tom Iddings is the Network Administrator for FCNL. He provides tech support to staff in normal operations, maintains FCNL’s Information Technology infrastructure, and supports the work of the Senior Manager of IT Operations in planning and execution of FCNL’s IT requirements.
Tom began working as an IT consultant for FCNL as part of his regular business practice with Randolph Winn at Infovisions, together providing IT managed services to non-profit organizations. Tom’s early work history at FCNL dates to supporting Randy on projects in the 2000s and Tom took on the role of FCNL’s primary tech support contact in 2014, reliably shepherding the staff’s tech needs through many tech changes, organizational changes, and a doubling in staff count. As FCNL began to employ a full-time IT department, Tom stayed on as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition.
Tom has lived in and around DC for 30 years and enjoys volunteering at community organizations, riding his bicycle, and pursuing DIY projects and crafts of all sorts.
