Piersen is currently studying sociology and anthropology at Spelman College. She has won several awards from the Urban League and is a member of the National Council of Negro Women. She is also working on a local candidate’s campaign. Piersen brings to FCNL her experience as an Executive Board Publicity Chair for the Spelman College Social Justice Program and as an Ambassador for Spelman College.
