It’s eye-opening to explore the inner workings of government and learn what is representation, to learn that every voice matters. Even if it’s for something outrageous, that voice is still taken in and considered. That’s important.
I was born in a refugee camp in the West Bank. When I came to the U.S. I was welcomed and included. It made me appreciate it here. The democratic process has become important to me. The possibility of change makes me want to get involved.
