Olivia Delaplaine serves as the Advocacy Coordinator for FCNL. In her role, she supports FCNL’s Advocacy Teams and wider national grassroots network with training, coaching, and leadership development on advocacy and organizing.

Olivia worked from 2022-2025 as the Program Coordinator at Friends Place on Capitol Hill, FCNL’s Quaker guesthouse, facilitating workshops, planning events, and offering hospitality and lodging for groups visiting D.C. She also supported the launch of FCNL’s Campus Chapters program empowering student leaders to lobby Congress for peace and justice. Her background before coming to FCNL in 2022 is in state and local advocacy, community development, education, and hospitality. She is also a lifelong Maryland and Washington, D.C.-area resident and loves to spend time outdoors and make music and art.
