Madison Sings is a senior at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, double majoring in environmental policy and justice and public policy. Last year, she helped organize a dialogue with community members regarding racial equality. She also spearheaded an initiative that resulted in Warren Wilson College President Lynn Morton becoming the first college president in North Carolina to sign the Higher Education Carbon Pricing Endorsement Initiative.
