Lily Carrasco was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and came to San Antonio, Texas, at the age of eight. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in political science and sociology. Lily participated in an undocumented student rights organization, the Council for Minority Student Affairs and was its representative in the Texas A&M Sustainability Coalition. She is an Advise TX College mentor, helping low-income, first-generation students access higher education.
