Lauren-Elaine Brown is a Minnesota native with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice with minors in Biology and Bible. She lives in Dallas, Texas and recently worked for the ACLU of Texas as their Local Engagement Specialist. She spends her time in DFW serving the community as a sociopolitical activist, and networks with stakeholders in various industries.

Lauren-Elaine’s passions include dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline and creating safe spaces for special populations such as victims of sexual abuse and individuals living with disabilities. Ms. Brown’s passion to see equity will serve as the engine that keeps her going during the fellowship! She is currently becoming Vegan and training to become a yoga instructor for children and youth who have experienced traumatic events.
