Larissa Gil Sanhueza is FCNL’s young adult program director, and in this role, she focuses on developing young adult advocates around the country. As someone who started her advocacy career in one of our young adult programs, Larissa prioritizes making space for others to start their own advocacy work in an environment that is safe, supportive, and empowering. She oversees our Advocacy Corps Program, Campus Chapters Program, Fellowship Program, and our new intergenerational Spring event, Friends’ Changemaker Weekend. She has trained thousands of people to lobby in her 7 years at FCNL and has worked to elevate young people not just as advocates of the future, but also as present-day experts. In addition to her role at FCNL, Larissa is pursuing a master’s degree in Intercultural and International Communication at American University.
