Ernest Scarborough organizes and executes FCNL’s major events, including FCNL’s Annual Meeting and Quaker Public Policy Institute, Spring Lobby Weekend, and other virtual events and webinars.
These events bring hundreds of Quakers and like-minded folk together from around the country to discern our advocacy priorities for the upcoming year and to lobby for passage of legislation in keeping with Quaker values.
Ernest comes to FCNL with an extensive background in arts administration and event planning. In his previous roles, Ernest worked to develop and enable positive and emotionally intelligent professional environments, and efficient and effective programming. He created processes and procedures for event management. He is dedicated to fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in the workplace.
Ernest attained a B.A. in Theater with a concentration in Performance Studies and a minor in Sociology from Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey. He lives in Takoma Park, MD.
