Corena Owens is a junior International Studies major at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Corena has been attending West Grove Friends Meeting in Snow Camp, North Carolina since she was 5 years old.
She earned her Girl Scout Gold Award in 2016 by building a multilingual library in her former high school, and she continues to be active in Scouting today. After college, she will pursue a career in the Foreign Service. Corena is excited to learn how to be the best advocate she can be, met other young adults from across the country and learn more about climate change.
