Annie Chiorazzi served as FCNL’s senior manager for events and programming. In that role she organized and executed FCNL’s major events, including the Quaker Public Policy Institute, Annual Meeting, and Spring Lobby Weekend as well as other virtual events and webinars.

These events bring hundreds of Quakers and like-minded folk together from around the country to discern our advocacy priorities for the upcoming year and to lobby for passage of legislation in keeping with Quaker values.

Annie came to FCNL with a background in undergraduate admissions in higher education, with a focus on multicultural recruitment, especially recruitment of first-generation college-bound students. In her time in admissions, Annie developed and honed her event planning skills geared towards prospective and admitted students, which she now uses to tackle lobbying events on behalf of Quaker causes such as stewardship of the earth and the quest for equity and social justice.

Annie holds a B.A. degree in Politics and American Studies from Brandeis University and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the Boston College Lynch School of Education. Originally from Arizona, Annie enjoys exploring mountains (especially with her dog, Clark), visiting National Parks, and has a general affinity for anything cactus-themed.
