Anne Rants resides in Arcata, California, and attends Cal Poly Humboldt, majoring in Child Development with minors in American Indian Education and Women’s Studies. Anne is a descendant of the Karuk and Shasta tribes of Northern California and is extremely passionate about issues that affect their community.
Previously, she worked as a judicial intern within her tribe’s victim advocacy team and has advocated for free-flowing rivers in Chile as part of the Rios to Rivers exchange.
