Director of Technology Infrastructure
The Director of Technology Infrastructure provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on management of FCNL’s technology environment. This role ensures that all systems, hardware, software, and data are secure, reliable, and aligned with FCNL’s mission, operational needs, and compliance requirements. The Director leads IT planning, cybersecurity, PCI compliance, infrastructure improvements, and end-user support while managing vendor relationships and guiding long-term technology strategy. This position balances high-level planning with day-to-day operational responsibilities, working closely with Finance, HR, Communications, Development, and Program staff.
Lead Lobbyist, Sustainable Energy & Environment
The Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), a nonpartisan Quaker lobby, is seeking a Lead Lobbyist for FCNL’s Sustainable Energy and Environment program to advance the organization’s vision of an earth restored. The Lead Lobbyist for Sustainable Energy and Environment sits within the Domestic Policy Team, reports to the Legislative Director for Domestic Policy, and manages one entry-level Program Assistant Fellow.
Advocacy Corps Organizer 2026-2027
The Advocacy Corps program includes a 10-day hybrid summer intensive training with a few days online, but the majority of the training will take place in Washington, DC as well as participation in FCNL’s lobby weekend conference in the spring. You’ll be part of a dynamic team of up to 12 young people learning and working together in different parts of the country to make changes on a vital issue.

Are you called to offer your gifts in service of FCNL governance? FCNL is governed by a committee of approximately 180 Friends. Governors meet each November to conduct business at FCNL’s Annual Meeting.

The Advocacy Teams Network is made up of more than 1,500 Quakers and friends from across the county who use their power as constituents to make change in Washington.
Program Assistant Fellowship
Recent college graduates spend 11 months working with key staff members at FCNL to build expertise in advocacy from a public interest perspective. This is a paid, full-time position.

The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship invites recent college and graduate school alumni to apply for six to nine-month fellowships with NGOs in Washington, D.C.
