No child should go to school in fear. No person should worry about being gunned down as they worship, work, or walk down the street. The epidemic of gun violence is killing us—through suicides, homicides, and lax laws.

That’s why FCNL is faithfully advocating for meaningful and substantive gun policy reform.

Over the past year, we’ve been working with partners across the country to advance the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019 (H.R. 8/S. 42). It closes loopholes by requiring background checks for all gun purchases. The House has passed it; it is now before the Senate.

Will you help us stem the tide of gun violence in America by contributing today? Thanks to a generous group of FCNL donors, your gift before June 30 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $145,000.

Thank you for supporting our efforts to reduce gun violence by advancing bills like H.R. 8.
