Urge Congress to Support the Global Response to COVID-19!

Right now, Congress is negotiating its next COVID-19 relief package. However, lawmakers continue to leave funding for the global response on the cutting room floor.

FCNL believes that during this pandemic we must help our neighbors, at home and abroad. Right now, Congress is negotiating its next COVID-19 relief package. However, lawmakers continue to leave funding for the global response on the cutting room floor. FCNL believes that during this pandemic we must help our neighbors, at home and abroad.

Congress has provided just $2 billion to support the global response to the pandemic, less than 1% of the amount dedicated to helping Americans and a tenth of the amount called for by leading foreign policy experts. While domestic needs remain substantial, the United States must do its part to help stave off a global health, economic, and security crisis.

Members of Congress need to know that their constituents care about those beyond our borders. Let your senators know there are no exceptions to “love thy neighbor” – even in a pandemic.
