May 22, 2019 | Recording Now Available

By Jim Cason, May 23, 2019

Rep. Ryan Costello (PA-06) has been key to the Friends Committee on National Legislation’s work to foster bipartisan climate change action in Congress. On May 22, he joined FCNL advocates for a special climate briefing.

Former Rep. Costello and Emily Wirzba, FCNL’s Legislative Representative for Sustainable Energy & Environment engaged in a dialogue on the importance of grassroots advocacy for bipartisan climate solutions and FCNL’s climate strategy.

We enjoyed an in-depth and wide-ranging discussion on the challenges and path forward in this work. The conversation touched on everything from carbon taxes to sustainable agriculture.

More than 130 of you tuned in from across the country. If you were not able join us, I encourage you to listen to the recording.

FCNL relies on your persistent advocacy and your financial support to continue our work. Climate change will not wait for a new Congress. We need action now. If the call inspired you to act, please consider taking action now by donating or writing a letter to the editor of your local paper using our easy tool.
