I’ll be late for work on Nov. 6

By Katie Breslin, September 14, 2018

I sent my boss a calendar reminder to let him know that I’ll be late for work on Nov. 6. Calendar reminder: Katie is going to vote.

Why? Because I’m going to vote in the midterm election. I have it all planned out. I know what time my voting place will open. I know which coffee shop I’m going to stop at on the way there. I even picked out which outfit will look best with my “I Voted” sticker. I’m ready.

Are you? Will you commit to vote this November?

I’m excited to vote this election because I know that the changes I want to see in our country will be affected by the election results.

My vote matters but it will matter more if you also vote. Please commit to vote on Nov. 6.

Already did? Please ask your friends and family to join you.
